What is INFNIT®?
INFNIT® turns the race file you already have into a race plan for your watch. Upload your race GPX and you get it back with honest climb figures, every checkpoint with its services and cut-off, your cut-off margins for your target time, and when you'll be running in the dark. Straight to your watch.
Do you sell routes?
No. We don't sell or publish routes. You bring the file you downloaded from your race organiser (or recorded yourself), and we enrich it for you alone.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the pilot. For Oman by UTMB (December 2026), everything is free for pilot runners.
Which watches work?
The INFNIT® Race data field runs on Garmin watches that support Connect IQ, including Forerunner, fēnix, Enduro, Epix and Venu models. We'll publish the full device list with the Connect IQ Store listing.
On other brands (Coros, Suunto and others), you can still use the enriched GPX file with checkpoint waypoints.
How do I get my files?
Join the pilot on our homepage with your email and race, and confirm your email. Before race week we'll send you instructions to upload your race GPX, and you'll receive a private link to your files: a course file for your watch, a GPX with waypoints, and a race card for your phone or to print.
What does the watch show?
The next checkpoint and distance to it, when you'll arrive, your buffer at the next cut-off, your heart rate, the climb and descent to the next checkpoint, and what's waiting there (food, medical, toilets, crew access).
Is INFNIT® official?
No. INFNIT® is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by UTMB®, race organisers or Garmin. The organiser's official route, rules and cut-offs always take precedence.
Why is your climb figure different from the organiser's?
Every source measures differently. For the Hajar Ultra 100M, the organiser states 8,000 m+, the raw GPX adds up to 8,643 m, and apps give anything from 6,491 m to 7,731 m. We re-measure every route on a satellite terrain model with a documented method and show our confidence. See the comparison on our homepage.
How accurate are the cut-off margins?
They're estimates. Before the race, they're based on your target time; during the race, the data field uses your actual pace. They're there to help you plan and pace, not to replace the organiser's official times. If in doubt, follow the organiser.
What happens to my data?
We keep only your email, race and watch brand. Your uploaded file is deleted as soon as your enriched file is ready. No tracking, no selling, and we never use your activity data without your explicit consent. Full details are in our Privacy policy.
Can I use INFNIT® for other races?
Oman by UTMB is our first pilot, followed by the AlUla Trail Race in January 2027. More races will follow. Tell us which race you'd like at info@infnit.net.
Who's behind INFNIT®?
INFNIT® is built by Faisal Alnakib, an ultrarunner who wanted better race information on his own watch. It's built in-house, including our own terrain engine.
